Let’s Grow Together
The Centre Wellington Community Foundation (CWCF) offers vital community grants and dedicated guidance to help your local initiatives thrive. We are here to welcome and support you at every stage of your grant seeking journey.

Annual Spring Project Grants
The Annual Spring Project Grants are designed to empower local citizens and organizations to bring their ideas to life. These grants, which have a ceiling of $1,500, support a diverse array of community initiatives that foster connection, creativity, and wellbeing throughout Centre Wellington.
We invite all potential applicants to consider how their unique project strengthens community life in Centre Wellington and join us in growing a more vibrant future.
Jack R. MacDonald Community Fund
This fund, made possible by a generous donation from Jack R. MacDonald, honours his legacy of support to the former Village of Elora. For many years, Mr. MacDonald donated to fund projects in Elora, and upon his death in 2013, the Jack R. MacDonald Charitable Trust was formed and seed money from the Trust created the Jack R. MacDonald Community Fund.
CWCF’s Jack R. MacDonald Community Fund grants are aimed at providing grants up to a maximum of $5,000 in 2026 to registered charitable organizations to support projects that will have a positive impact within the former Village of Elora boundaries.
If you have any questions regarding this granting program, we are glad to help. Email grants@cwcfoundation.ca. Granting opened on September 21 and the deadline for the application submission is October 9, 2026 at 5:00 PM. The lead applicant must be a Registered Charity or a non-for-profit organization who is partnered with a Registered Charity.
